Play Time

So I tell Cam to keep Jr occupied for a second while I run to the car and get something. I come back in to this. And Jr LOVES that Cam almost fits under the play mat with him!

He is definately at the stage where EVERYTHING goes in his mouth! :-)

A day with family......

Okay before you read any further...I have NO idea why these pics are so small! No matter how many times I click "large" they still come out like this. So sorry you will have to strain your eyes a bit!

So Jeremy's brother and family were down for the weekend. It is always so much fun when they come to visit because Gavin just LOVES playing with Cam so they are always running all over the place. Here are a few pics!

Jr's first experience on a bike with daddy. He didn't know what to think! But he will grow up to love it, just like all the rest of them! :-)

On the move.....

Jr is so vocal now a days. He loves to hear himself talk. Hmmmm maybe he takes after his mother :-) But the other night we were playing with him and all of sudden we could have sworn he said "hi". Now some people say "oh no! It's too early. It is just him cooing". Well you are wrong :-) He then said it again and again as we said it to him. Then he went to the dentist office with Jeremy's mom yesterday and the receptionist told her "He just said Hi to me 3 different times!". So there you have it! My kid is a genius and I am sure will be crawling all over my house very soon. Now if I could just get him to say "momma". We will work on that one.

Oh yes....Jr is on the go. We all know that he is definately ahead in a lot of things. It could be his size.....or he could just be a genius. Who knows! :-) No but really....he has been trying to crawl for quite some time now. And he has finally got the whole concept down. Almost. He concentrates so hard. He puts his head down, butt up, and pushes himself along. He is trying really hard to get the whole idea of them arms moving down. He will get it soon I have no doubt. He loves his little play mat. I think he finds new things every day to play with and touch!

3 months....going on 12 months!

Well our little man turned 3 months yesterday and he just gets cuter every day! I took him to the dr yesterday and found out his weight. He is a whooping 17lbs 4oz!!!!!

My little ham

Well since we have not had any "official" pictures taken on Jr., I thought we better do it before he is out of the whole baby stage all together. Which seems to be creeping up very quickly! I am sending out birth announcements (yes, I know he is almost 3 months and I am just now doing it :-)) BUT as everyone knows, he has had a very "busy" life so far.

Sleep? I have heard of that once or twice

You know, I have decided it is a rough life to be a baby....I mean, you wake up, get fed, people hold you, people clean your butt for you. My kid has got it hard! :-) Yeah right! Jr was spoiled from the moment he was born, before that even. And he is a great baby. But just here lately he is having some issues with sleeping. As daddy would say, "You are just like your mother! Afraid you are going to miss something". Which makes me laugh because it is totally true. He will fall fast asleep and minutes later his eyes are WIDE open and he is looking all around. He is does this over and over again. He will fight it until he can't take it anymore. Poor guy just won't give up. He also has this thing where he will sleep for the most part until about 3am and then he is wide awake and fussy! Not good for mom who has to get up for work at 5:30. So I am usually up from 3am on, it is fabulous. But we are working on it and he is getting better. It is just going to take a few sleepless nights until he gets it down. I can deal with that. But seriously, he is the happiest baby. And he sure likes his diaper to be clean because every time you put him on that chaging table he is all smiles and giggles.

So......I have been trying to post a blog for the last 3 weeks. Something always seems to come up. That is basically the story of my life now a days. A whirlwind of chaos! :-) I have started back to work and I will admit, it is HARD! I am trying my hardest to adjust. Thank God I have my mom and Jeremy's mom to both watch Jr during the day. That has helped a lot. He sure loves his grandmas. He is growing so much and developing quite the personality. He will defaintely tell you when he is not happy.....or bored. He is quite the smiley baby. But.....he knows when you are taking pictures! He will be laughing and smiling and as soon as I get the camera or phone and he gets serious as can be. He is to the point now where he loves to sit up and gets quite annoyed when he is laying down for too long. Before long he will be doing it by himself. Can't wait for that.

Oh how he loves his mobile. He will lay there and talk and smile for the longest time!

Hanging out with his cousins.......Jordan and Anycia I will say one thing.....Jr is the perfect name for him! He is definately his daddy's boy!
