Boogie Man

So I just put Jr to sleep. This is my favorite part of the night. He is such a little monster (yes, I said it. lol) when it comes to going to sleep. He will fight it till the end. But EVENTUALLY he gets to the point where he just snuggles up against me and looks up smiling and talking. He is getting bigger every day and it is basically freaking me out. He is my angel! He has developed quite the little personality. He will let you know what he wants. He is growing so fast! He is now STARTING TO WALK! Which totally freaks me out. But he is such a happy kid. Learning and doing new things every day.

How could I not post this!!! This will be the picture I show to all his girlfriends! Get ready son!

Our little man is growing up!

Okay so I know I am a total slacker and it has been a LONG while since I have blogged. I am making a new goal for myself to do this more often! I enjoy it, it is just actually taking the time to sit down and do it that takes awhile! lol.

So Jr will be 6 months in a little over a week!!!! This is very exciting and yet kind of sad at the same time! My little man is growing up so fast. Every day he is doing something new, it is amazing! And....HE JUST GOT HIS FIRST 2 TEETH!!! 2 in the middle on the bottom, SO CUTE! He actually did pretty well with them when they first broke through, but now they are hurting him a bit more. He is a trooper though!

So just a note, these pictures are random and not in any order. I am sure none of you care, but I am a little neurotic and it bugs the heck out of me! Although I guess not too much, since I don't take the time to put them in order. :-)

My mom got him this little Spiderman bat awhile ago but I just gave it to him yesterday. He absolutely loves it! I actually took it away from him to feed him and he went completely hysterical. Which made me laugh (No, I am not a bad mother! lol) But up until now he has never really cared if you take something away from him. But oh no! Not the bat! This is his and he will hold onto it for dear life!Memorial Day 09

He is such a happy baby! He is always laughing and smiling! Now don't get me wrong, he definately does have his moments where he will scream and scream.....but nothing too bad. Yes, he does look just like his daddy but I think he is getting a lot of his momma's personality! And we all know what that means! :-)

He is definately at the stage of everything goes straight to his mouth! I love watching how he grabs and reaches for things now. It is so cool to watch the look in his eyes when he sees something new.

There is a little park just right around the corner from our house with a baseball field where they play Little League. Cameron wanted to go watch his friend play so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to take Jr. When I first put him in the scream, he kind of wailed. But I plopped down right in front of him on the ground and he LOVED IT! He probably swang for about 40 minutes before he was done. We all had a great time!

Play Time

So I tell Cam to keep Jr occupied for a second while I run to the car and get something. I come back in to this. And Jr LOVES that Cam almost fits under the play mat with him!

He is definately at the stage where EVERYTHING goes in his mouth! :-)
All tired out

A day with family......

Okay before you read any further...I have NO idea why these pics are so small! No matter how many times I click "large" they still come out like this. So sorry you will have to strain your eyes a bit!

So Jeremy's brother and family were down for the weekend. It is always so much fun when they come to visit because Gavin just LOVES playing with Cam so they are always running all over the place. Here are a few pics!

Jr's first experience on a bike with daddy. He didn't know what to think! But he will grow up to love it, just like all the rest of them! :-)

On the move.....

Jr is so vocal now a days. He loves to hear himself talk. Hmmmm maybe he takes after his mother :-) But the other night we were playing with him and all of sudden we could have sworn he said "hi". Now some people say "oh no! It's too early. It is just him cooing". Well you are wrong :-) He then said it again and again as we said it to him. Then he went to the dentist office with Jeremy's mom yesterday and the receptionist told her "He just said Hi to me 3 different times!". So there you have it! My kid is a genius and I am sure will be crawling all over my house very soon. Now if I could just get him to say "momma". We will work on that one.

Oh yes....Jr is on the go. We all know that he is definately ahead in a lot of things. It could be his size.....or he could just be a genius. Who knows! :-) No but really....he has been trying to crawl for quite some time now. And he has finally got the whole concept down. Almost. He concentrates so hard. He puts his head down, butt up, and pushes himself along. He is trying really hard to get the whole idea of them arms moving down. He will get it soon I have no doubt. He loves his little play mat. I think he finds new things every day to play with and touch!

3 months....going on 12 months!

Well our little man turned 3 months yesterday and he just gets cuter every day! I took him to the dr yesterday and found out his weight. He is a whooping 17lbs 4oz!!!!!
